BIG breaking news...

Just saw this posted on a forum. The City of Claremont has been approached by the Amgen Tour of California to serve as a host city for one stage of the 2011 Tour of California. Memo from the city staff to City Council is in support of the proposition. The link is rather slow, give it a little time. And, keep in mind that it is still early in the process; but it is good to know that city staff believes that this is an opportunity worth pursuing.
