the Claremont Public Library is a branch of the Los Angeles County Public Library system, and is located on Harvard Avenue, directly across from City Hall. The Library was founded in 1914 and has been at its current site since 1928, though the current building dates to 1975.
the collections of the Library consist of over 168,000 books, 180 magazine subscriptions, and an audio-video collection of several thousand. The Library hosts various regular and special events including children's storytime, lectures, poetry readings, exhibitions, and booksales. The Library's mission is further supported by the Friends of the Claremont Library.
There is secure bicycle parking at both front and back entrances.
